It's not every day your teacher let's you watch 'Bolt' in class. The countdown for the end of school begins at the same time as the afternoon announcements.

10... 9... We receive our report cards... 6... 5... The door is opening... 3... 2... 1... 0.

The bell rings. School is officially out for Summer vacation!

Day #5: #HackTheWorld

I was awoken when I was told we had to drive Dad to the hospital. So we took a drive into Dartmouth and dropped him off. There were only a few Ingress portals nearby, so we went into Sackville. There were so many along a path. I hacked lots and ended up getting a badge. I started my love for linking, and became a master at making fields. I claimed, hacked, deployed and destroyed portals, and I had my bar of AP filled to half. Since there were a few, we rehacked some portals. Then we picked up Dad and went home. Not much later, we went to the market. So we stepped foot on the boardwalk. Some portals weren't monuments. Some monuments weren't portals. So it didn't take long before we exited and went for a walk around point pleasant. SO many portals, and most were unclaimed! (Others were taken by Pakrat.) I checked the Intel. I jumped. I was number FOURTEEN on the top active agents! (Mom said she looked obsessed. She was number 3 and was next to the most popular Enlightened agent, Garrgamell.) Mom told me I could recharge through portal keys, so I tried one.

And that was all it needed. Exotic matter swarmed around me, and suddenly sucked in.

The day is done, and I level up.

Day #4: #HateLife

It's 8 in the morning. Everything's blurry, nothing that playing Minecraft won't fix! (JK:) Soft boiled eggs for breakfast. I blog for a bit and then draw my avatar for a game (or not) called Ingress. I helped my brother with his new game that now increases his frustration, and then get dressed. Mom's friend comes over for a bit, while I snack on pitas, cucumber, and broccoli. We head over to her house, and I multitask, trying to read while using the rowing machine. I succeeded, and I was able to do it for 35 minutes straight.

Day #3: #HotCanada

I had fallen asleep around 11:30, and unsurprisingly, I wake up at 6. The sun rays shine through the slightly translucent tent walls as the birds sing beautifully. The girls had rolled off of me, so I was able to move freely. Cheerios for breakfast. I observe the pet rats and write for a bit. Later, we get permission to go to the park. So we walk, and eventually get to the park. It's at the end of the road and isn't far. We play a game of Don't Touch the Ground tag, when suddenly someone gets out two small glow sticks, which are tied together with string, and uses them violently against us. So I go back, where I get a scooter and take it for a spin. After I do more writing. Then I help clean out the tents and roll up the sleeping bags. While everyone  is outside kicking around Mario, I do 15 minutes of rowing. While I start to throw a basketball in the air, I was told Mom would arrive soon. So I pack my things, and soon Mom strolls in through the door. She takes me strawberry picking at Dempsey corner. I was absolutely dripping with sweat, and the sun rays were ridiculous. Once ten baskets and four stomachs were filled, we got to play for a little while. While on the carousel, two goats were wandering around and suddenly jumped on! One comes over to me and starts ramming my leg. So I go over to the cow. It grunts at me, so I grunt back at it. And you know what? It responded! So Dad videoed my chat with a farm animal, and Mom was quite amused. Soon we have to leave, and then later we go to a fireworks display. Happy Canada Day!

Day #2: #OutsideWorld

My day starts off with a bit of blogging. Soon Mom hijacks the computer and I go to my room to read. Half an hour later, I come back downstairs to see my brother in full control of both the TV and the computer. So I munch on taquitos impatiently while I wait. Finally, he soon gives up on trying to unmute a tab and leaves the screen. I zip towards the remote and put on HDMI 3. I plug the cord into the computer and put on Riddle School 3. I do a play-by-play for Dad on how it all works, and then let him play the original Riddle School himself. Not long after, we get in the car and head towards Fall River. We park outside the Battered Fish and walk towards the doctors office. It was quite the wait, so I spent my half hour almost drifting off in a chair in the kitchen play area.  Once the nurse comes, we spend another 10 minutes waiting for our vaccinations. Oh, and did I mention that I hate needles? Although, it didn't hurt as much as I thought it would. It was more like a tiny little prick. It was almost harmless. We get McFlurries as a treat and head home. My friend's mother is waiting. I pack my things and get ready for the bonfire. It hasn't been set up yet, so I help put up a few chairs. A few other guests show up, and we all play tag. Hours later, we roast marshmallows and hot dogs and after set up camp. I said that I don't sleep well with boys who are always chattering the night away, giving me permission to sleep in the girls tent. They didn't mind. In fact, they decided I should be their human mattress! And you know what? It was surprisingly comfortable!

Day #1: #Friendship

My friend and I discuss the factors of our report cards. We end our hat contest and say goodbye. I get home. Another one of my friends calls and asks if we can play Minecraft, and who can say no? I hook him up and we battle in a few mini games. He decides to show me his world. It was good, and I wanted to try and do something.

Don't tell him I totally hacked at it.

I decided to show him my world. I loaded it and he observed it. He seemed to like my minecart roller coasters. He said he was going to build a house, which was fine by me. While he did, I started work on a redstone dial pad. Later he tells me to look. I turn around, only to see what used to be Snow Golem Central was now his massive mansion! Of course, I didn't say anything. I even helped him a bit. Minutes later, Dad tells me to log off. So I say goodbye and let my friend go. Dad takes me to Kartbahn, while I am wishing that I don't crash 7 million times like I did last time. I get in a go-cart and take it for a spin. A crash here and there, but that's the fun in learning from your mistakes. We run some errands, and then go to another one of my friend's house. While her brother and I are outside, an unexpected rain hits before you can say flozwad (I'm a Riddle School fan). Burgers are for dinner, fresh off the grill. We stay for a little more, munching on cookies and cream ice cream while we wait. An hour later, we are leaving. The 2nd day of summer vacation is almost here.

Let's see what awaits us these next 70 days.

PART 2: The prologue

I wake up. Hard to forget what day it is: June 29th. I feel cold, both physically and mentally. All the fun will soon be just a memory. I get on the bus an hour later. In another 15 minutes, I'm getting off of it. The school bell rings. More shirts being sighned, more goodbyes being said. We go to the assembly. Awards are given out, and I get one for being in choir.

So why am I still gloomy?

Oh, the assembly is over and we get free books. Then we get treats. Then a sound rings that fills me with fear: the bell.

A vacation is on.
