Short speech

Well, we didn't win the golden broom, and that's [a little] okay.  I have a speech that's short because I left my journal in the cabin.  We played Monarch [a game where you have to try and NOT to get hit by the ball, sort of like ball tag]  and I was AWESOME!

Missed me!  Missed me!

Time to clean up

So the plan is that we're going to clean up, and then we have something UNIQUE.  I have it and it's right here... MY JOURNAL.!.!  My journal and I have gotten a little famous around Camp Triumph, so I'm going to write a poem, and this is how it goes:

Dear Counsellors, you haven't heard a Humph,
I'm having fun at Camp Triumph.
I'm going to be Spider-man for Halloween supper,
I cleaned up like a Super-cleaner-upper.
We want that Golden Broom so bad,
if we don't get it, we might be mad.
I hope this message comes right through,
I hope we get that plunger, too.

Dressing up

We had "rainbow breakfast" today.  We had archery and had safari lunch.  Dinner was Hawaiian, so I dressed up like a Hula-person.  It was Hula-rios!  P.S. We found hermit crabs galore at the beach.  So there is this Golden Broom in Camp Triumph that goes to the cleanest cabin, and we've got a plan to WIN it.

Ready - Steady - Fire!!

MORE Fun!!!

We drove 2 hours to get to Camp Triumph.  We had lots of fun and had burgers.  Mason (one of my cabin mates) and I built a solar powered utensil-and-cup machine.  The machine's utensils absorbed the sun travelling to every cup, which captured the energy.  We had a roll call and had dessert.  I had carrot cake and the others had "I scream."  We had a tour and sang at the campfire.

PART 1: Ready to leave

We're all packed up and ready to leave.  We drove 1 and a 1/2 hours.  Finally, we arrived at the ferry.  We sailed 75 minutes (an hour & 15 mins) and arrived in PEI.  Oh, right!  I forgot to introduce myself!  My name is Jamie.  Did I mention my pen pals live here?  Anyway, we drove to our cottage which was 20 mins away.  We got comfy and went for a swim.  Tomorrow there is going to be MORE fun.!.!
